Benny Alvis Ford

   Benny Alvis Ford, age 81, passed away Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Benny was born on March 24, 1938 to his parents the late William "Bill" Ford and Laura Hall Ford.  He was the husband of Joyce Ford, a retired clerk for CSX Railroad Company, and a member of the Ford's Branch Church of Christ.  He also worked in Wisconsin at American Motors and owned Ford's Branch General Store for many years.      Along with his parents, Benny was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Dale Ford.      Along with his wife, Benny is survived by his daughter in law, Pamela Forsyth Ford, three brothers, Bobby (Lula) Luster Ford, Buddy (Verna) Ford, Billy (Carol) Ford, one godson, Jonathan Bryant, special nephew, Tony (Connie) Casebolt, five special nieces, Janet (Ricky) Burnette, Deborah (Vernon) Hall, Rita (George) Blackburn, Teresa (Dick) Jarvis, Brooke Ford,  one sister in law, Leona Faye May, and a host loving nieces, nephews, family and friends who will miss him dearly.      Visitation will be Saturday, February 1, 2020,  at 6p.m. at the Ford's Branch Church of Christ.  Visitation will be Sunday at the church from 1p.m. to 10p.m.  The funeral will be Monday, February 3, 2020 at 1p.m. at the Ford's Branch Church of Christ with Church of Christ Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ford's Branch Cemetery.
