Bertha L. Burch

Bertha L. Burch, age 75, passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023, at her home. Bertha was born on March 25, 1948, to her parents the late George Cooper and Daisy Elkins Cooper. She was the companion of the late Howard Robinson, retired from food service, and a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with her companion and parents, Bertha was preceded in death by one son, William Kevin Lozier, two brothers, Troy and Luke Cooper. Bertha is survived by two sons, Troy Michael (Mary) Lozier, John David Lozier, one sister, Janice Faye Kinney, two special nieces: Tammy Kinney Charles and Justina Sue Kinney, two special nephews: Terry Leon (Monica) Kinney, Darrell Ray Cooper, special great nieces and nephews: Emmy, Ben, and Luke, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6 p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery. In Lieu of Flowers donations can be made to Lucas and Son Funeral Home.
