Betty Sue Rogers

    Betty Sue Rogers, age 80, passed away Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024 at her home.  Betty was born on Feb. 1, 1944 to her parents the late Charles Richard "Bigger" Raines and Effie Mae Goff.  She was the wife of the late David Rogers, a retired CNA, and a believer of the Christian Faith.

     Along with her husband and parents, Betty Sue was preceded in death by one step daughter, Kim Rogers, two brothers, Paul and Howard Raines, and four sisters, Patty Hall, Sylvia Daniels, Dena McCown, and Margie Chaney.

      Betty Sue is survived by three daughters, Tonya Rogers, Ronda (Ira) Hill, Michelle Rogers, step daughter, Kelly Dallas, special sister in law, Reba Fields and special nieces, one brother, Jack Raines, two sisters, Judy Raines, Rita Pugh, and a host of loving family and friends.

      Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 17, 2024 at 10A.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  The funeral will begin at 1p.m. on Saturday Feb. 17, 2024 at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Keith Collins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery at Shelbiana.
