Bill Milam

Bill Milam age 70 passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019 at the Whitesburg ARH Hospital  Bill was born on Feb. 14, 1948 to his parents the late Fred Milam and Ethel Sanders Milam.  He was the husband of Peggy Anderson Milam, a construction worker for Pine Mountain Stone, and a believer of the Freewill Baptist Faith.  Along with his parents, Bill was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Milam and two sisters, Jo Wright, and Myrtle Holland. Along with his wife, Bill is survived by one daughter, Wendy (Marlon) Tackett, one son, Justin Childers, one granddaughter, Marla Tackett, two brothers, Thomas and Jimmy Milam, four sisters, Ada Shepherd, Alta Mae Johnson, Mary Collins, Neva Casler, two special friends, Roger Anderson, Reuben Anderson and a host of loving family and friends.  Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Saturday at 7p.m.   The funeral will be Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Homer Lee Mullins officiating.  Burial will follow in the Childers Cemetery at Elkhorn Creek.
