Billie Newsom

     Billie Evelyn Potter Newsom, age 76, passed away Monday, December 16, 2019 at her home in Kingsport, Tn.   Billie was born on Sept. 24, 1943 to her parents the late Charlie Potter and Delphia Rogers Potter.  She was the wife of the late James Clyde Newsom, a homemaker, and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith.      Along with her husband and parents, Billie was preceded in death by two brothers, Jimmy Potter and Donnie Potter, and one sister, Mary Potter.      Billie is survived by one daughter, Lisa Carol Newsom Arnold, two granddaughters, Chessie Leigh Arnold, Cassie Lee Arnold one sister, Jeri Anderson, her beloved cat, Lil Bit, and a host of loving family and friends.      Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Wednesday at 7p.m.   The funeral will be Thursday December 19, 2019 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Danny Belcher and others officiating.  Burial will follow in the Potter Cemetery at Dorton, Ky.
