Billy Wayne Kennedy

Billy Wayne Kennedy, age 81, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at his home.  Billy was born on July 8, 1937 to his parents the late John Earl Kennedy and Sudie Katherine Stewart Kennedy.  He was the husband of Neva Jo Sparks Kennedy, a retired owner/operator truck driver, supervisor for Appalachia Security, a deputy sheriff, and a member of the Zebulon Church of Christ.     Along with his parents, Billy was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.    Along with his wife, Billy is survived by two daughters, Angela Sue Kennedy, April Raschea Kennedy, two grandchildren, Destiny Shae Hamilton, Anna Ruth Zhen Kennedy, and a host of loving family and friends.    Visitation will be Saturday at 3p.m. at the Zebulon Church of Christ. The funeral will be Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 2p.m. at the Zebulon Church of Christ with Shane Lockard officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bent Ridge Cemetery at Meta.
