Blanche L. Polley, age 78, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019 at her home. She was born on August 25, 1940 to her parents the late Gilmer Louis Dale and Emma Jane Huffman Dale. She was a former librarian at Millard School, a homemaker, and a former employee of Model City daycare, and a believer of the Christian Faith. Along with her parents, Blanche was preceded in death by her fiancée for over thirty years, Thinnis Sirginnis, one daughter, Tina Coleman, two grandchildren, David Sellards, Dylan Mullins, fourteen brothers and sisters. Blanche is survived by her companion, Jimmy Goble, three daughters, Nancy (Bo) Polley, Elizabeth (Doug Harris) Sellards, Crystal (David) Miller, one son, Rex Polley, one brother, Raymond Dale, ten grandchildren, Alexis (T.J.) Dotson, Dustin Anderson, Bradley Childers, Ryan Sellards, Will Sellards, Jeremy, Jason, Josh, & Justin Coleman, Kyle Conn, fifteen great grandchildren, special friends, Karen Dotson, Belinda Presley, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jimmy Jack Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Dow Brooks Cemetery at Draffin.
