Bobbie Jean Thacker

Bobbie Jean Thacker, age 90, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024 at her home in McKenzie, Tennessee.  Bobbie was born on August 22, 1934 to her mom the late Roxie Bryant.  Bobbie Jean was the wife of the late Eugene Thacker.   She was a retired housekeeper and a former employee of Mash Instruments Factory in Chicago, and a member of the Cow Creek Freewill Baptist Church. 

     Along with her husband and mother, Bobbie Jean was preceded in death by two sons, Alex Hollon and Eric Hollon, and one son in law:  Jessie Ricketts.

     Bobbie Jean is survived by one daughter, Joyce Ricketts, three step children, Larry, Emma, and Kim,  two brothers, Cleo White and Sam Watson, one sister, Betty Cox, six grandchildren, Kim Hollon, Jason Hollon, Matt Hollon, Terry Hollon, Tony Hollon, and April Parham, several great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.

     Visitation will be Monday, Dec. 23, 2024 at 10 A.M.   The funeral will be Monday, 12/23/2024 at 2 P.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Nathan Lafferty officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery at Shelbiana.
