Carlos Damron

Carlos Damron, age 77, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at the Parkview Nursing Home.  Carlos was born on June 14, 1940 to his parents the late Allen Damron and Mella Newsome Damron.     Along with his parents, Carlos was preceded in death by four sisters, Tilda Bitha Newsome, Rachel Brown, Melster Stewart Cole, Mee Lee Belcher, and three brothers, Vernon Damron, Garnett Edward Damron, Charlie Allen Damron.     Carlos is survived by one sister, Mary Nancy Johnson, one special niece, Tonya Johnson and a host of loving family and friends.    Visitation will be Wednesday at 2p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Wednesday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Newsom Branch Cemetery.
