Carol Marie Rowe

November 14, 1942 — November 8, 2024

    Carol Marie Rowe passed away November 8, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Carol was born November 14, 1942, to her parents John Richard Alford and Lydia Nowling Alford.  She was the wife of the late Charlie Reed Rowe and a receptionist/secretary for the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services, and a member of the DAV Ladies Auxiliary.  Carol was a member of the Freewill Baptist Faith and loved Bible study with her close friends.  She loved gardening and loved any type of flower.  

    Besides her parents and husband Carol was preceded in death by two brothers, Edgar Lee Alford and Adrian Alford.  

    Carol is survived by two sons, Charlie Reed Rowe Jr., Philip Reed (Elizabeth) Rowe, one daughter Betty Marie (Ronald) Prichard, six sisters, Frances Clary, Jeanette Gavins, Adelaide (Bill) Lehmkuhle, Margaret (Reno) Hancock, Sarah (Allen) Henderson, Shirley Holley, four grandchildren, Megan Roberts, Steven (Victoria) Roberts, Alex Rowe, Kara Rowe, three great-grandchildren, Sophia Roberts, Axel Roberts, Isabella Roberts, three grand-puppies, Oakley, Red, Molly.  Carol will be greatly loved and missed by her loving family and friends.

    Visitation will be Sunday November 10, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Lucas and Son Funeral Home, with church services starting at 5:00 PM.  Funeral services will be Monday November 11, 2024, at Lucas and Son Funeral Home at 12:00 Noon with Tyler Bentley officiating.  Burial will follow at the Rowe Family Cemetery at Little Creek.
