Carroll D. Harris

    Carroll D. Harris, age 85, passed away Sunday, Sept. 22, 2024 at the Highlands ARH Hospital.  Carroll was born on August 31, 1939 to her parents the late Ed Pickilesimer and June Ford Picklesimer.  She was the wife of the late Alfred Harris, a homemaker, a former Wal Mart associate in the Fabrics and Crafts Department, and a member of the Cornerstone Christian Church.

     Along with her husband and parents, Carroll was preceded in death by one son, Boone (Della) Harris.

     Carroll is survived by seven children, Vetina (Doug) Herman, Kathy Horn, Danny Harris, David Harris, Eddie (Robin) Harris, Robin Harris, Teffeny Harris, one brother, Donald Ray Picklesimer, three sisters, Billie Jean Picklesimer, Evelyn Deboard, Ann Picklesimer, twenty six grandchildren, forty two great grandchildren, six great great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.

     Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Thursday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Friday, Sept. 27, 2024 at 1 P.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Paul Potter and Jonathan Munson officiating.  Burial will follow in the Picklesimer Cemetery.
