Cecil Blake Ratliff

Cecil Blake Ratliff, age 65, of Chloe Creek, Pikeville, Ky, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at the Pikeville Medical Center.Cecil was born in Pike County, Ky. on October 21, 1952, to his parents Hazel Ratliff and the late Cecil Blaine Ratliff.  Cecil was a disabled coalminer and of the Pentecostal Faith.  Cecil was preceded in death by his father and one grandchild, Mikka Blaine Ratliff.  Cecil is survived by his wife -Joyce Ratliff, his mother-Hazel Ratliff and two sons-Cecil Blake Ratliff, Jr. (Jennifer), Michael Blake Ratliff, and one daughter, Melissa Marie Burke (Cleatus). Survived by two brothers- James Earl Ratliff (Judy), Larry N. Ratliff (Della).  Cecil is survived by five grandchildren- Mikey Ratliff, Dalemikka Ratliff, Dalton Burke, Alexis Ratliff, Coleton Ratliff and one great granddaughter- Natalee Ratliff and a host of loving family and friends.Visitation will be Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday and Saturday night at 7:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral will be Sunday, April 15, 2018, 2:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Donnie Hall and Billy Compton officiating. Burial will follow at the Ratliff Family Cemetery, Cowpen, Pikeville, Ky.
