Charles Buddy Bevins

    Charles Buddy Bevins age 86, passed away February 7, 2025, at Pikeville Medical Center.  He was born on December 27, 1938, to his parents the late John Nelson and Myra Slone Bevins.  Charles was the husband of the late Judy Sato Bevins. Charles was a retired Air Force Master Sargent, Vietnam Veteran, a retired teacher and believer of the Christian Faith. Charles taught at St. Leo College, helped with the Upward Bound program and taught at Pike Central High School where he loved watching all sports and filmed all games and even had a dedicated spot know as Mr. B's Hawk's Nest.  Charles loved Jesus, his family and his Pike Central Hawk Family.                                                                                                                                                                                                     

    Besides his wife and parents, Charles was preceded in death by one sister Tottie Bevins Howard and one brother Smitty Blake Bevins. 

    Charles is survived by two brothers Johnny (Janet) Bevins, James R. Bevins, three sisters, Glenda (Bob) Fitzsimmons, Martha S. Bevins, Sherry M. Bevins, a host of loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews, and a host of loving family and friends.

    Due to sickness in the family the memorial service will be announced at a later date.
