Charles Allen Blackburn

     Charles Allen Blackburn, age 63, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Allen was born on Dec. 31, 1960 to his parents Mary Dotson Blackburn and the late Bobby Gene Blackburn.  He was the husband of Jeannie Justice Blackburn, a retired coal miner, and a member of the Fed's Creek Baptist Church.
     Along with his father, Allen was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby Gene Blackburn Jr.
     Along with his wife and mother, Allen is survived by one brother, Kennith Blackburn, two sisters, Vicky Lynn Stone, Kendra Blackburn, his step daughter, Tammy (Mike) Brizendine, three grandchildren, Kentlie, Mikila, Koven, and a host of loving family and friends.
     Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Wednessday, April 3, 2024 at 12 Noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with B.J. Blackburn officiating.  Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park.
