Cheryl Coleman Bowling, age 74, passed away April 1, 2023 in Fort Myers, Florida. Cheryl was born on November 2, 1948 to her parents the late Edward Coleman and Ona Bentley Coleman. She was the wife of Tommy F. Bowling, a retired clerk for U.S. Post Office, and a member of the United Methodist Church at Dorton. Along with her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by one brother, Larry Coleman and one sister, Lois Coleman. Along with her husband, Cheryl is survived by two sons, Charlie Bowling, Freddie (Brenda) Bowling, five grandchildren, Brandon Bowling, Kayla Coleman, Hollie Prater, Haleigh Ward, Thomas Blake Bowling, ten great grandchildren, Sadie, Sidnee, Keaton, Kynleigh, Kylee, Klay, Korbyn, Konor, Makayla, Isaiah, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Saturday April 8, 2023 at 11 A.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Johnny Vanover officiating. Burial will follow in the Phillip Cemetery at Caney Hwy. of Pikeville.
