Christine Hopkins

Christine Adkins Hopkins, age 72, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2018 at the Heritage Center in Morristown, Tn.  She was born on May 23 1946 to her parents the late William Adkins and Betty Ramsey Adkins.  She was the wife of Luther Hopkins, a homemaker, and a member of the Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church.      Along with her parents, Christine was preceded in death by one son, Jackie Dale Hopkins, and several brothers and sisters.      Along with her husband, Christine is survived by two daughters, Annetta (Eddie) Mullins, Angela (Larry) Justice, four sons, Luther Dewayne (Wanda) Hopkins, Louie David Hopkins, Brian Keith (Connie) Hopkins, Christopher (Tabitha) Hopkins, two sisters, Geri Cole, Patricia Riley, fifteen grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.       Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Thursday and Friday at 7p.m.   The funeral will be Saturday Dec. 15, 2018 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jimmy Jack Adkins and others officiating.  Burial will follow in the Hopkins Cemetery at Greasy Creek.
