Dakota Blake Compton

Dakota Blake Compton, age 17, passed away Monday, April 23, 2018.  Dakota was a junior at East Ridge High School He was born on Nov. 22, 2000 to his parents, Tonya Kay Newcomb Compton and Timothy Blake Compton.     Dakota was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Martha Newcomb, and aunt, Janie Newcomb Standifur.     Along with his parents, Dakota is survived by his paternal grandparents, Rod and Shirley Compton, special cousin, Ashley Miller, his uncle, Randy Compton, and a host of loving family and friends.    Visitation will be Thursday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Friday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Chris Bartley and others officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
