Danny Young

Danny Kenneth Young, age 66 of Varney, KY, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024 at Signature Health Care.  He was born on July 10, 1958, the son of the late Willard Young and Gusta Ray Young.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, Virgil Young, Burgess Eugene Young and James Elmer Young.

Before his retirement Danny was a truck driver .

He is survived by four sons, Kevin Young, Brian Young, Josh Young and Kenny Young, by a daughter, Danielle Young, by a step daughter, Lorie Simons by two brothers, Larry N. Young and Gary Young and by 10 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 28, after 6 PM at the Pilgrim Home Old Regular Baptist Church at Varney.  Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 12 Noon at the Pilgrim Home Old Regular Baptist Church with Brothers Hobert Hamilton, Richard Staton and Duane Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in the Young Cemetery at Varney.

Special services will be held on Sunday and Monday nights at 7 PM
