David Dwayne Griffith

David Dwayne Grifith, age 52, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center. David was born on June 12, 1970 to his parents the late Carl Griffith and Fayetta Abshire Norman. He was the husband of Crystal Hall Griffith, a coal miner, and a believer of the christian faith. Along with his parents, David was preceded in death by one brother, Ermel Griffith, step father, Paul Norman. Along with his wife, David is survived by one daughter, Natasha (Jay Posadas) Griffith, one son, Shawn Griffith, his mother in law: Fontella Griffith, one sister, Tammy (Chris) Mullins, five nephews, Gage, Jade, Hayden, J.D., Jordan, and three nieces, Sky, Tori, Gwen, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Friday and Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jimmy Jack Adkins and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Dry Fork. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lucas & Son Funeral Home.
