Declan McCoy

Declan McCoy, age 7, of Shelbiana, Ky., passed away at his home on June 22, 2023. Declan was born in Pike County, Ky. on June 8, 2016, to his parents, Josh McCoy and Mashala Huffman McCoy. Declan was a student at Millard Elementary School and his favorite colors were green and purple. Declan was preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, Linda Fields, Octavi Huffman, paternal great grandparents, Joella McCoy and Orville McCoy, and James and Evelyn Ingersoll. Declan is survived by his parents, his brothers and sisters, Kylie McCoy, Makinah McCoy, Jaxon McCoy and Rhylan McCoy. He is survived by his maternal grandparents, Nichole and Mitchel Huffman, paternal grandparents, Lora (Don) Epling and Charles McCoy and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday, June 24, 2023, 5:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home, with visitation both Saturday and Sunday nights. Funeral will be Monday, June 26, 2023, 1:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home, with Mike Dingus officiating. Entombment will follow at the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
