Delbert Anderson

Delbert O. Anderson, age 85, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at his home in McRoberts, Ky. Delbert was born on November 28, 1938 to his parents the late Alvin Anderson and Easter Vanover Anderson. He was the husband of Henrietta Sword Anderson, a retired lab technician for ARH Hospital, a former letcher county coroner, and a former magistrate. Along with is parents, Delbert was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters. Along with his wife, Delbert is survived by one daughter, Delbretta Anderson, one son, Ken Anderson, one brother, Roger Anderson, one sister, Shirley Anderson, three grandchildren, Amanda Abshire, Jason Abshire, Brandon Abshire, two great grandchildren, Orion Talon, Evelyn Abshire, and a host of loving family and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at McRoberts Community Center from 2 P.M. to 5 P.M.
