Dennis Franklin Clevinger

Dennis Franklin Clevinger, age 76, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Dennis was born on March 5, 1947 to his parents the late Early Clevinger and Ella Owens Clevinger. He was the husband of Dolly Blevins Clevinger, a retired coal miner, and a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Kiser, Nora Epling, six brothers, Chester Clevinger, Leon Clevinger, Dean Clevinger, Randolph Clevinger, Ellis Clevinger, and Robert Clevinger. Along with his wife, Dennis is survived by two daughters, Melissa Clevinger, Krystal Clevinger (Fred) Coleman, four brothers, James, Donnie, Paul, and Norman Clevinger, four grandchildren, Zachary Belcher, Brent Coleman, Olivia (Trent) Johnson, Lucas Coleman, one great grandchild, Parker Johnson, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 11 A.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Randy Bentley officiating. Burial will follow in the Clevinger Cemetery at Marrowbone, Ky.
