Denton Huston

  Denton Huston, age 80, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025 at the U.K. Medical Center.  Denton was born on Sept. 7, 1944 to his parents the late Charlie Huston and Virgie Little Huston.  He was the husband of Linda Johnson Huston, a retired coal miner, and a believer of the christian faith.

     Along with his parents, Denton was preceded in death by one daughter, Madonna Anderson, and three brothers, Curt, Carlos, and Jim.

     Along with his wife, Denton is survived by one daughter, Nina Kay (Mike) Stanley, one son, Jonathan (Becky) Bartley, son in law, Bobby Anderson, five grandchildren, Eric Stanley, Nikki Anderson, Cheyenne Bartley, John Paul Bartley, Silas Jaxon Bartley, and a host of loving family and friends.

     Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church servces will be Tuesday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Dolph Kelly officiating.  Burial will follow in the Huston Family Cemetery.
