Dickie Koahn Ratliff

Dickie Koahn Ratliff, age 80, passed away Friday, Feb. 22,2024 at his residence.  Dickie was born on October 27, 1943 to his parents the late Arthur Dick Ratliff and Bonnie Ramey Ratliff.  He was a retired Heavy equipment operator for Hawkins Coal Company. Dickie was of the Christian faith. 

Along with his parents, Dickie was preceded in death by one sister, Ruby Childers.

Dicke is survived by his companion of 43 years, Ruth Adkins, two daughters, Rebecca Ratliff Swindall (Curtis), Suelene Rowe, a special fur baby Harry. He is also survived by two brothers, Ricky Ratliff (Anita), Jackie Ratliff, three sisters, Linda Coleman, Connie Breahm (Dean), and Faye Childers (Dan), one grandson, Dalton Cole Swindall, one granddaughter, Kelsie Williams, one great-grandchild, Weston Cole Swindall, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be Monday Feb. 26,2024 at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Monday night at 7pm, with Mike Coleman, Tony Adkins and Terry Gibson officiating.  The funeral will be Tuesday Feb.27,2024 at 1pm at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Mike Coleman, Tony Adkins, and Terry Gibson.  Burial will follow at the Silas Ratliff Family Cemetery.
