Dixie Roberts

Dixie Lois Damron Roberts, age 91, passed away Monday, May 28, 2018 at her home.  Dixie was born on May 18, 1927 to her parents the late Grover Cleveland Damron and Sollie Jane Roberts Damron.  She was the wife of the late Bennie Roberts, a homemaker, and a member of the Buckfield Freewill Baptist Church.     Along with her husband and parents, Dixie was preceded in death by five brothers and six sisters.     Dixie is survived by one son, Paul Dean (Julia) Roberts, one daughter, Yvonne (Randall) Little, one sister, Jackie Forrest, two grandchildren, Trevin (Sarah) Little, Paula Jo Roberts, and a host of loving family and friends.    Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Tuesday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 11a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Leonard Lowery and Bruce Sawyers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
