Donnie Ray Harris

Donnie Ray Harris, age 75, passed away at the Pikeville Medical Center on October 20, 2023. Donnie was born in Pike County to his parents the late Ray Harris and Exie Layne Harris. Donnie was the husband of Pricy Faye Slone Harris for 54 years. He was a retired coal miner, a Pastor at the Island Creek Freewill Baptist Church for over 20 years. Donnie is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Donnie DeWayne Harris. Donnie is survived by his wife Pricy, two sons, Kerry (Mindy) Harris and Terry Harris. He is also survived by five brothers, Charles Harris, Stevie Joe (Glenda) Harris, Harold Blake (Sherry) Harris, Marvin Dale (Tammy) Harris, Jackie Lee (Sharon) Harris.. Survived by two sisters, Patricia Blackburn, Letha Harris and a host of loving family and friends. He is survived by nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday. October 22, 2023, 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with services both Sunday and Monday nights at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be Tuesday, October 24, 2023, 11:00 AM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Roger Blackburn, Frankie Bryant, Paul Coleman, James Justice, Junior Mullins, Merion Wright officiating. Burial will follow at the Ralph W. Slone Cemetery located on Coon Creek, Ky.
