Doris Allen

Doris Carlene Allen, age 87, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at her home.  Doris was born on Nov. 30, 1930 to her parents the late Ruey Adkins and Eunice Reynolds Adkins.  Doris was the wife of Eugene Allen, a retired sales clerk, and a member of the Phyllis Church of Christ.      Along with her parents, Doris was preceded in death by eight brothers, Junior, Millard, Bobby, Virgil, Benny, LeRoy, Jimmy, David, & Donnie Blake Adkins, and three sisters, Mildred Adkins, Wilma Keene, and Patty Branham.    Along with her husband, Doris is survived by two sons, Darrell Gene (Belinda) Allen, Harold Dean (Debbie) Allen, two daugters, Sharon Kaye (Brad) Fuller, Teresa Faye (Rodney) Chapman, three sisters, her twin, Lois Justice, Norma Huffman, Brenda Kinder, special caregiver, Dianna Miller, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.     Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Friday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 2p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jerry Bliffen officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
