Dorothy Jean Evans

Dorothy Jean Evans, age 72, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at her home. Dorothy was born on October 9, 1948 to her parents the late Woodrow Prater and Sharlene Robinson Prater. She was a homemaker and a believer of the Christian Faith. Dorothy is survived by two sons, Mark Evans, David (Michelle) Evans, one sister, Henrietta Prater, two brothers, Robert Dean (Linda) Prater, Jimmy (Phyllis) Prater, five grandchildren, Kenessha, Karri, Marcus, Danielle, and Amelia, five great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Church services will be Wednesday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Thursday, October 15, 2020 at 1p.m. at the Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Jimmy Jack Adkins and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Prater Cemetery at Greasy Creek.
