Dorothy Ann Meade

Dorothy Ann Meade, age 90, passed away Thursday, June 21, 2018.   She was born on March 18, 1928 to her parents the late John Vanover and Alta Lockhart Vanover.  She was the wife of the late Bill Meade, a homemaker, and she attended Cornerstone Church of Christ.     Along with her husband and parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by one infant son,  Christopher Buffy Meade, one son, Jimmy Meade, one grandson, Jimmy Meade II, three brothers and two sisters.     Dorothy is survived by two daughters, Linda (David) Nichols, Angel (Randy Partin) Meade Roberts, one son, Rocky (Karen) Meade, two brothers, Roger and Billy Vanover, two sisters, Betty May, Mary Hunt, seven grandchildren, Kelli, Casey, Robbie, Buffie, Dari, Billy Michael, and Katie, ten great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.     Visitation will be Saturday at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  The funeral will be Sunday, June 24, 2018 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Larry Kendrick officiating.  Burial will follow in the Meade Family Cemetery at Ratliff Creek.
