Drucie Hobson

Drucie Hobson, age 93, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at her home.  Drucie was born on June 17, 1924 to her parents the late Tan Branham and Rachel Branham.  She was the wife of the late James Hobson, a member of Calvary Freewill Baptist Church at Indian Creek, and owner/operator of Hobson's New/Used and Antique Furniture.     Along with her husband and parents, Drucie was preceded in death by three brothers, Tommy Branham, Victor Tackett, Jay Tackett, and three sisters, Sadie Koch, Jeanette Coleman, and Phyllis Logue.     Drucie is survived by two daughters, Betty (Phil) Krutko, Bonnie (Jimmy) Justice, three sons, Jeff (Lisa) Hobson, Pastor John (Vicky) Hobson, Paul (Jessica) Hobson, one brother, Tan Branham, three sisters, Icy Coleman, Freda Sparks, Cleda Fields, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends.    Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  The funeral will be Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Pastor John Hobson and Donnie Hall officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
