Edith Faye Taylor

Edith Faye Taylor, age 80, of Shelbiana, KY, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was born on May 23, 1940, the daughter of the late Victor and Alma Salyers Martin. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Lee "Tony" Taylor. Before her retirement Edith was self employed and was a member of the Victory Temple Holiness Church. Edith is survived by a son, Tony Taylor, II and his wife Tonya, by a brother, James "JV" Martin and his Wife Jeanette, and by five sisters, Delores Coleman, Fern Mullins, Polly Robinson and her husband Miles, Linda Ratliff and her husband Clinard and Carol Ratliff and her husband Julius and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 15, 2020, after 6 p.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Tuesday night church services will be at 7:00 pm. at Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, June 17, at 11 a.m. at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Clinard Ratliff officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
