Edith Williams

Edith Williams, age 82, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Edith was born on August 11, 1936 to her parents the late Ervin Rogers and Maude Akers Rogers.  She was the wife of the late Warren Keith, retired from thirty plus years of nursing from Pikeville Medical Center, a member of the Liberty Freewill Baptist Church, and a member of the D.A.V. Auxillary.    Along with her parents, Edith was preceded in death by one daughter, Kathy Williams Cline, four brothers, Arland, Burley, Ermil, and Roy Rogers, and two infant brothers, and two great grandchildren, Marcus and Abigail Collins.     Edith is survived by three daughters, Edith Faye Sanders, Deborah (Craig Cortia) Rollins, Sandy (Dana) Hamilton, eight grandchildren, Matthew (Melisa) Sparks, Angie Justice, Trinity Mullins, Stephanie Sparks, Amanda (Dwight) Robinette, Tim Robinson, Summer (Stacy) Collins, Brittany (Brock) Morley, thirteen great grandchildren, Jordan, Johnathan, Austin, Ryan, Bryan, Cameron, Nathan, Erica, Taylor, Stacia, Sydney, Wyatt, Walker, four great great grandchildren, Kairi, Ryder, Serana, and Johnna, and a host of loving family and friends.    Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Church services will be Friday and Saturday at 6p.m.   The funeral will be Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Adam Akers, Ricky Wright, and Billy Compton officiating.  Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
