Eldon Blackburn

Eldon Blackburn, age 62, passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018 at the Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center.  Eldon was born on March 22, 1956 to his parents the late Clyde Blackburn and Mavis Adkins Blackburn.  He was the husband of Jeanette Reid Blackburn, and a retired coal miner.      Along with his parents, Eldon was preceded in death by one sister, Betty Sue Carroll and one brother, Roger Dale Blackburn.       Along with his wife, Eldon is survived by two daughters, Kayla Blackburn, Sally Blackburn, one son Dave "Bud" Blackburn and his wife, Kori, two brothers, Eugene (Barbara) Blackburn, David Blackburn, one sister, Wanda (Mose) Thacker, one grandson, Sawyer Blackburn and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.      Visitation will be Saturday at 10a.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  The funeral will be Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Buddy Ford officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ford's Branch Cemetery.
