Elitha Hopkins

Elitha Hopkins, age 58, of Shelbiana, Ky., passed away on September 5, 2021, at the Pikeville Medical Center. Elitha was born on January 18, 1963, in Pike County, Ky., to her parents the late John Adkins and Alma Bevins Adkins. Elitha was a home maker and of the Church of Christ Faith. She was the wife of Dorby Hopkins. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Donald Adkins, sister, Judy Adkins. Elitha is survived by her husband, a son, Johnathan Hopkins (Jennifer), a daughter, Stephanie Hopkins. Along with three brothers, Gary Adkins, George Adkins, Johnny Adkins, four sisters, Barbara Adkins, Patty Thacker (Jewit), Betty Tucker (Frankie), Norma Adkins, two grandchildren, Ryliegh Hopkins, Brayden Hopkins and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 7, 2021, 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home, with services both Tuesday and Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be Thursday, September 9, 2021, 1:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Teddy Honaker and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Hopkins Cemetery on Greasy Creek.
