Erma Jean Chaney

Erma Jean Chaney, age 71, of Biggs Branch, Pikeville, Ky, passed away October 11, 2018, at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, Ky.Erma was born in Pike County, Ky.  on June 8, 1947, to her parents the late Jessie Chaney and Zettie Thacker Chaney. Erma was a homemaker and of the Old Regular Baptist Faith.  Erma is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers,  Kermit and Ervin Chaney and one sister Nancy Slone.Erma is survived by three sisters, Ersie Slone, Martha Slone, Belle Chaney,  five nephews, Billy Ray Slone, Jessie James Slone, Donnie Slone and Jimpie Slone and Darrel Slone. She is survived by six nieces, Carol Sue Slone, Lesha Slone, Janet Slone, Bonnie McPeek, Patsy Branham and Joyce Thompson and a host of loving family and friends.Visitation will be Saturday, October 13, 2018, 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home, with church service Saturday and Sunday night at 7:00 PM. Funeral will be Monday, October 15, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with A.B Thacker, Frank Thacker, Jr., Garfield Thacker and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Chaney Family Cemetery at Biggs Branch.
