Ethel Damron Long

Ethel Damron Long, age 76, of Regina, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, December 27, 2018, at the Hospice Compassionate Care Center in Richmond, Kentucky.  Ethel was born in Pike County, Ky on September 27, 1942, to her parents the late Charlie Damron and Nancy Damron. Ethel was a homemaker and a member of the Aldersgate United Methodist Church at Little Robinson Creek.  She was the widow of the late Wayne Long. Ethel is preceded in death by her husband, parents and one brother Donald Damron.   Ethel is survived by one daughter, Susan Ratliff (David), two sons, Ronnie Long (Teena), Gary Neil Long (Lisa), one sister, Almedia Frazier. Ethel is survived by six grandchildren, Keith Long, Charlie Long, Kingdra Adkins, Neil Long, Holly Ratliff, Katie Ratliff and two Great Grandchildren, Kortlynn Adkins, Kenton Long and a host of loving family and friends.   Visitation will be Saturday, 6:00 PM, December 29, 2018 and Sunday, December 30, 2018 at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home.  Funeral will be Monday, 12:00 Noon, December 31, 2018, at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Melvin May officiating. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery, Shelbiana, KY.
