Eugene Reaford King age 91 passed away Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Parkview Nursing and Rehab Center. Eugene was born in Pike County, on September 8, 1926 to his parents the late Andrew Jackson King and Fannie Scott King. Eugene graduated from the Nashville TN Diesel College. Euguene was a retired employee from Brandeis Machine Company, where he served as a Diesel Mechanic and a Branch Manager for many years. Eugene served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy, in both the World War II and the Korean War, he received many medals during his service. Eugene was a member of the Coal Run Church of Christ and served as an Elder. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Dorothy Marie (Stevens) King, one daughter, Judy Andrea Reed. Eugene was preceded in death by three brothers, Bill King, James King, Frank King, two sisters, Nell Pinson, Hope Trent and one Great Granddaughter, Skylar Arianna Lowe. Eugene is survived by two sons, Eugene Earl King (Tina), Barry King (Sheila Ann). Survived by three brothers, Jack Neil King, Ronnie Douglas King and Jewel King (Dude). He is survived by seven grandchildren, Ashley Crum Justice, Eugenia Marie Reed, Tanner Reed, Ryan Reed, Megan King, Chardonai Lowe, Jason Reed, six great grandchildren, Lacie Justice, Lexie Justice, Gabriel Pierce, Jasmine Lowe, Teagan Reed, Tinsley Reed and a host of loving family and friends.Visitation will be Monday, April 30, 2018, 6:00 PM at the Coal Run Church of Christ, Pikeville. Visitation on Monday night and church services on Tuesday night at the church. Funeral will be Wednesday, May 2, 2018, 1:00 PM at the Coal Run Church of Christ with Jerry Bliffen officiating. Burial will follow in the Bent Ridge Cemetery at Meta, Ky.
