Fanny Wright

Fanny Trivette Wright, age 80, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Ky. She was born on March 16, 1942 to her parents the late Arthur Trivette and Cousby Newsome Trivette. She was the wife of the late Billy Joe Wright, a dollmaker and candy maker, and a member of the Dorton Old Regular Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Fanny was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur Trivette Jr., Carl Gene Trivette, two sisters, Edna Hall and Clara Little. Fanny is survived by five children, Terry Coleman, Jerry Coleman, Michael Anthony Chavis, Ammie Ruth Chavis, Jeremy (Sarah) Chavis, two brothers, Ancil Wayne Trivette, Glenn Allen Trivette Sr., five sisters, Ruby Joyce Wright, Pauline Clawson, Annie Sturgill, Patty Sue Culliton, Lois Conn, five grandchildren, Cameron Coleman, Jared Daniel Chavis, Emma Lee Chavis, Reid Chavis, Calvin Chavis, a special friend, J.C. Haney, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Dorton Old Regular Baptist Church. Church services will be Saturday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Sunday, January 22, 2023 at 1 P.M. at the Dorton Old Regular Baptist Church with Carson Wright, James Tackett, and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Wright Family Cemetery at Dorton, Ky.
