Foster Mitchell

Foster Mitchell, age 75, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at the Kings Daughter Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. Foster was born on Feb. 5, 1945 to his parents the late Frankie Elliott Mitchell and Harmon Mitchell. Foster was the husband of Gladys Branham Mitchell, a truck driver and coal miner, and a believer of the Old Regular Baptist Faith. Along with his parents, Foster was preceded in death by sixteen brothers and sisters. Along with his wife, Foster is survived by two sons, Foster Darvin (Donna) Mitchell, Paul Edward (Lisa) Mitchell, five brothers, Thurman, William "Bill", Lark, Harmon, and Phillip Mitchell, three sisters, Elsie Hamilton, Brenda Lou Paige, Loretta Sue Newman, ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Thursday January 7, 2021 at 12 Noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Troy Branham Cemetery.
