Frances Lucille Belcher

     Frances Lucille Belcher, age 82, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at the Highlands ARH Hospital in Prestonsburg, Ky.  Frances was born on June 1, 1942 to her parents the late Alvis Ford and Rosie Branham Ford.  She was the wife of the late Gareth Blake Belcher, a homemaker, and a member of the Hueysville Church of Christ.  Frances was known for her amazing cooking and the ability to cook anything from scratch.

     Along with her husband and parents, Frances was preceded in death by one daughter, Julia Belcher.

     Frances is survived by one daughter, Melissa (Mike) Welch,  one brother, Robert Ford, one sister, Barbara Barker, six grandchildren, Matthew Wike, Andrew Wike, Debra Wike, Michael, Katie, and Kendra Welch, five great grandchildren, Landon Wike, Lauren Wike, T.J. Adkins, Lynn Adkins, Margarette Adkins, and a host of loving family and friends.

     Visitation will be Friday from 6p.m. to 9p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  The funeral will be Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Chester Varney officiating.  Burial will follow in the Ford's Branch Cemetery.
