Gary Dean Thacker

Gary Dean Thacker, age 54, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2018 at the Mt. View Health Care Center.  Gary was born on Nov. 22, 1963 to his parents Geraldine Hopkins Thacker and the late Zack Thacker.   He was a believer of the Baptist faith.     Along with his father, Gary was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and Keith Thacker.    Along with his mother, Gary is survived by one brother, Jerry Thacker, and one sister, Linda (Robert) Prater, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends who will miss him dearly.    Visitation will be Friday at 6 p.m. at the Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church.  Church services will be Friday and Saturday at 7p.m.  The funeral will be Sunday, Sept. 23, 2018 at 1p.m. at the Greasy Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Jimmy Jack Adkins, Jimmy Reed Adkins, and Doug Kendrick officiating.  Burial will follow at Jerry Hopkins Cemetery  at Greasy Creek.
