Geneva Hunt Hunter

Geneva Hunt Hunter, age 76, of Phyllis, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Kimper, Kentucky.  Geneva was born on December 26, 1941, to her parents the late Victor E. Hunt and Jettie Lee Griffith Hunt. Geneva's life was tragically ended in a motorcycle accident, along with her companion, James Shepherd. Geneva was a homemaker, former employee of the Pike County Court House, Fishtrap Lake, Mountain Health Care Center. Geneva was a member of the Kimper Fire Department and a member of the Kimper Church of God. Geneva is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Carmel Russell "Buck" Hunter, on January 10, 1992.  She is survived by her Uncle, Billy Griffith (Suetta), cousin, Susan Hurley (Eddie),  many, many  cousins and a host of loving family and friends.Visitation will be Monday, April 16, 2018 at 12:00 Noon with funeral services at 1:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Larry Abshire officiating.  Burial will follow in the Johnson Memorial Park, Pikeville, KY.
