Gilford Lee Nichols

Gilford Lee Nichols, age 57, passed away Monday, October 2, 2023 at his home. Gilford was born on Dec. 20, 1965 to his parents the late Donald Nichols and Elizabeth Thacker Nichols. He was the husband of Tammy Sizemore Nichols, and an auto body mechanic. Along with his parents, Gilford was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Along with his wife, Tammy is survived by one daughter, Donna (Scott) Younce, three sons, Phillip (Tiffany) Nichols, Cody Nichols, Preston T. Nichols, two brothers, Preston Nichols and Darrell Nichols, one grandson, Samuel Lee Nichols, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Thursday and Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 12 Noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The burial will follow in the Nichols Family Cemetery at Kimper.
