Gregory Gearhart

Gregory Allen Gearhart, age 58, passed away Monday, January 23, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Greg was born on July 17, 1964 to his parents the late Dennis Woodrum Gearhart and Mary Ruth Church Colley. He was the husband of Dorothy Jean Hopkins Gearhart, a retired coal miner, and a believer of the Baptist Faith. Along with his parents, Gregory was preceded in death by his grandparents, Massie and Leila Gearhart, and Reverend Elmer Church and Tonnie Church. Along with his wife, Greg is survived by one sister, Elizabeth (Daniel) Williams, one brother, Tim (Marcella) Gearhart, nieces: Annika Gearhart, Madison Williams, nephews: Jagger Gearhart, Dawson Williams, several nieces and nephews by marriage, and a host of loving family and friends who will miss him dearly. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral home. Church services will be Friday at 7 P.M. The funeral will be Saturday, January 28, 2023 at 1 P.M. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Jimmy Reed Adkins officiating. Entombment will follow in the Annie E. Young Mausoleum at Shelbiana, Ky.
