Harold Coleman, age 86, passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Harold was born on Sept. 24, 1932 to his parents the late Joe Coleman and Hazel Adkins Coleman. He was the husband of the late Linda Lou Lawhorn Coleman. Harold was a retired coal miner, a member of the Marrowbone Missionary Baptist Church, and he also served his country honorably in the United States Army during Korean War. Along with his wife and parents, Harold was preceded in death by one son, Ronnie Wayne Coleman, one granddaughter, Tiffani Ratliff, one brother, Leonard Coleman, and one sister, Irene Spears. Harold is survived by one son, Jerry Neal Coleman, one brother, Howard Coleman, one sister, Linda Crum, two grandchildren, Leigha Coleman Keene, Christopher Neal Coleman, five great grandchildren, Asher, Kaden, Konnor, Kyler, and Austin, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Friday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. The funeral will be Saturday, Sept. 15, 2018 at 2p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Annie E. Young Cemetery.
