Harold Whitt

Harold Whitt, age 90, of New Tazewell, Tn., formerly of Biggs, Ky. passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at the Claiborne Medical Center in Tazewell, Tn. Harold was born on July 5, 1932 to his parents the late Lacy Ivol Whitt and Fairy Hunt Lester. He was the husband of the late Bonnie Maxine Williams Whitt, a retired repairman for General Motors, and owner/operator Whitt Trucking Company. He also served his country honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Korean war. Along with his wife and parents, Harold was preceded in death by one sister, Toni Whitt. Harold is survived by two sons, Keith (Darlene) Whitt, Bryan Whitt, one granddaughter, Crystal Whitt, and a host of loving family and friends. There will be a graveside service Friday, Dec. 9, 2022 at 1 P.M. at the Annie E. Young Cemetery with Joe Ray Horne officiating.
