Hazel Bryant Tackett, age 88, passed away Friday, Dec. 20, 2019, at her home. Hazel was born on June 1, 1931 to her parents the late Granville Bryant and Lula Bentley Bryant. She was the wife of the late Virgil Lee Tackett, a homemaker, and a member of Caney Creek Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her husband and parents, Hazel was preceded in death by two daughters, Linda Lou Muncy and Glema Thacker, four brothers, Bill, Hassel, Paris, and Morris Bryant, and one sister, Sylvia Hatton. Hazel is survived by six children, Oliver Muncy, Helen Collins, Mary Thompson, Eddie Muncy, Mary Helen Profitt, Crystal Sartin, one brother, Randall Bryant, two sisters, Mildred Keene, Dorothy Roberts, nineteen grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Saturday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Saturday and Sunday at 7p.m. The funeral will be Monday, December 23, 2019 at 12 noon at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home with Ricky Wright, Arthur Compton, Johnnie Alvin, Brian Hundley, and others officiating. Burial will follow in the Hall Cemetery at Bear Fork.
