Helen Riggs

Helen Riggs, age 78 of Mt Sterling, formerly of Pikeville, Ky passed away at her home on July 30, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Helen was born in Pike County, Ky on April 18, 1942 to her parents the late Owen Justice and Santha Blackburn Justice. Helen was the wife of Gary Riggs. She was a member of the Community Church at Zebulon. Helen was a great mother and homemaker. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Benard Justice, Robert Owen Justice. She is survived by her husband, a son, Dale Riggs, seven sisters Hazel Williamson,Juanita Thacker, Crettie Hamilton, Marie Skeens (Benny), Phyllis Jean Cure (Billy), Lacy Mae Justice, Linda Cantrell (Ricky), a brother, Mark Justice (Jamie) She is survived by two granddaughters, Hannah Riggs, Kaitlind Riggs and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Sunday, August 2, 2020, 11:00 AM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Mark Justice and others officiating and special singing by Sean Bishop. After services she will be moved to the Community Church at Zebulon for a viewing. Burial will follow at the McCoy Cemetery, Zebulon, KY Family request that mask be used for everyone at both locations Lucas and Son Funeral Home and Community Church.
