Howard Taylor

     Howard Taylor, age 87, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024 at the Pikeville Medical Center.  Howard was born on October 10, 1936 to his parents the late John Taylor and Tamsie Griffith Taylor.  
     Along with his parents, Howard was preceded in death by four brothers:  Junior, James, Jerry Willis, and Larry Taylor, and four sisters:  Rosa Stiltner, Magdalene Dotson, Berniece Revis, and Della Beck.
     Howard is survived by two sons, Howard (Josephine) Taylor Jr., Keith Taylor, five grandchildren, Elizabeth (Alexander) Williamson, Tamsie (Wesley) Robinette, Natasha Taylor, Nicole Taylor, Nathaniel Taylor, five great grandchildren, Ransom Williamson, Jonathan Quintana, Griffin Robinette, Jonah Robinette, and a host of loving family and friends.
     Visitation will be Tuesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Wednesday at 6p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  The funeral will be Thursday, June 6, 2024 at 1p.m. at the Lucas & Son Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in the Taylor Family Cemetery at Hunts branch of Feds Creek.
