Imogene Worrix

Imogene Worrix, age 92, of Pikeville, Ky, passed away at her home on Saturday, June 15, 2019. Imogene was born in Johnson County, Ky on October 6, 1926, to her parents the late Reuben Miller and Ada Terry Miller. Imogene was the wife of the late Joe Worrix, a homemaker, and a member of the Pilgrim Old Regular Baptist Church.  Imogene was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one son, Douglas A. Worrix, two sisters, Ella Jo McGuire, Emma Sue Miller,  two brothers, Eugene Miller, and J.E. Miller Imogene is survived by one son, Tim Worrix his wife Marcella. She is survived by four sisters, Rita Rhodes (Warren), Zita Tooley, Mary Lou Lyons, Joyce Marie Justice, one granddaughter Macy Worrix and a host of loving family and friends. Visitation will be Monday, June 17, 2019, 6:00 PM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home. Church services will be Monday and Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM.  Funeral will be Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at 11:00 AM at the Lucas and Son Funeral Home with Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Miller Cemetery at Lower Johns Creek.
